SYNOPSIS

Lucia et sa fille de cinq ans, Marussia, immigrantes russes, toujours sur la route, d'un plan d’hébergement à l'autre, d'un homme à l'autre, à la recherche d'un endroit pour passer la nuit, un endroit pour appeler à la maison, fuir les autres pour en fin de compte les retrouver...

Ce drame est sur la relation entre une fille et sa mère dans laquelle les rôles sont inversés en permanence, révélant les sentiments maternels de la fille envers sa mère -immature et irresponsable- et l'affection filiale de la mère envers sa fille. Ce conte de cette Cendrillon russe se termine ici : le salut n'arrive pas sous la forme du prince charmant et une vie meilleure vient avec des plaisirs ordinaires, dans les moments de tendresse que la fille et la mère partagent ensemble...

Lucia and her five-year-old daughter Marussia, immigrants from Russia, are always on the move, from one housing project to another, from one man to the next, looking for a place to spend the night, a place to call home, running away from each other and finally finding each other again…

This drama is about the relationship between a daughter and a mother in which the roles constantly reverse, revealing the daughter’s maternal feelings toward her mother, and the mother’s filial—immature and irresponsible—affection toward her daughter. The tale of the Russian Cinderella ends here: salvation doesn’t come in the form of Prince Charming and a better life, it comes as ordinary happiness in the tender moments the daughter and mother share together....
